This is me

I'm the sort of retired sports writer. Spent more than 30 years covering games and two covering crime. I still write a little and I'm working on the memoirs. I was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2023.

This is The coach

Coach Marty Luquet coached baseball in Louisiana for more than 30 years and has 509 wins. He has retired a few times. Currently the head baseball coach at Harry Hurst Middle School.
